The DeckBeater X Pant is purpose-built for competitive sailors who spend extended time hiking on dinghies and keelboats, where contact with hard deck surfaces and sharp edges causes discomfort and fatigue. Taking the edge off point-loading from deck fittings and gunwales, these pants make racing sessions significantly more comfortable while protecting against abrasion and impact.
Sustainable materials form the foundation of the design. Lightweight Repreve® recycled stretch fabric provides fast-drying performance with a soft, cool feel against the skin, delivering UPF 50+ sun protection engineered to Australian standards, recognized as the highest in the world. Reinforced knee and seat panels feature proprietary ZhikTex II abrasion-resistant material laminated to naturally sourced Yulex® rubber.
Multiple thicknesses are seamlessly integrated into each compression-molded panel, providing protection precisely where needed without creating stiffness or pressure points.
The 3D body-mapped fit moves naturally with the body while an adjustable internal waistband ensures the pants stay securely in place. High-stretch flatlock stitching eliminates irritation during long sessions. Designed for versatility, the pants can be worn on their own in warm conditions or layered under shorts on keelboats for additional coverage and protection.
