The Women’s X Unisuit is engineered for athletes who demand uncompromising performance, comfort, and durability across rowing and paddle disciplines. Designed from the ground up as part of Zhik’s X performance tier, it introduces stitch-free fused construction and advanced pattern engineering to remove the limitations of traditional rowing suits and deliver a new standard of race-day comfort and longevity.

At the core of the design is a four-way stretch fabric infused with graphene. This graphene infusion strengthens the fibres to improve durability and shape retention, while actively supporting temperature regulation and breathability in high-sweat zones. The fabric also delivers natural odour control and certified UPF 50+ protection, resulting in a suit that stays cooler, dries faster, and maintains its performance characteristics through repeated high-intensity use.

Ultrasonic welding replaces traditional stitched seams, enabling a unique fused construction that significantly reduces seam count and irritation against the skin. This stitch-free approach improves comfort during prolonged sessions, increases abrasion resistance, and allows for more organic panel shaping than is possible with sewn construction. Seam tape widths are varied strategically throughout the suit, balancing comfort, durability, and structural integrity in high-load areas.

The upper body features highly breathable mesh panelling that wraps internally to reinforce structure while maximising airflow. This internal mesh layer strengthens key load zones without adding bulk or stiffness. The women’s shoulder strap design has been developed in close collaboration with elite athletes, drawing inspiration from swimwear construction to deliver a secure, flattering fit tailored to the female form. Reinforced taping through the shoulders provides support and stability while remaining slim and comfortable.

In the lower body, fused seam technology enables an innovative leg construction with fewer seams and expanded silicone grip zones. This reduces pressure points around the thighs, improves muscle contact, and maintains stability without restricting movement. The ergonomic seam layout increases the surface area available for silicone grip placement, enhancing comfort and performance during powerful, repetitive motion.

Extensively laboratory tested and refined through feedback from Olympic and national-level rowing and paddle athletes, the X Unisuit sets a new benchmark for comfort, durability, and performance.
