The 2024 Powerpads® are built on Zhik's founding designs. The Zhik Powerpads® are the original game-changing hiking aid and remain the benchmark for performance sailing. The latest generation draws on nearly two decades of refinement and world-class sailor input to create our most supportive, adaptable and comfortable system yet.
Designed to be worn under any wetsuit or drysuit, the Powerpads® feature a secure, ergonomic form that locks in place thanks to a combination of internal silicone grippers and a snug, breathable perforated neoprene sleeve. The pre-shaped batten pocket is reinforced for longevity, while the external seams have been strengthened to withstand the rigours of intense use.
Each set includes removable battens and separate EVA foam inserts, allowing sailors to adjust the level of stiffness and hiking height for different boats, conditions, or personal preference. The ergonomic shaping enhances comfort during long sessions on the rail, giving sailors the edge when hiking at full extension.
