DESCRIPTION
The Zhik Hydrophobic Fleece Pants offer more warmth than a thin spandex layer and more freedom of movement than a wetsuit, designed for cooler conditions where warmth and mobility both matter.
The pants are made from polypropylene, a naturally hydrophobic fibre that repels water rather than absorbing it. A wet layer can turn heavy and cold, whereas this fabric sheds water and stays light, helping it dry faster. Because the repellency is part of the fibre, it does not wash out the way an applied coating can. A PFAS-free Durable Water Repellency treatment adds further protection on the surface.
A soft brushed fleece backing adds warmth and a comfortable feel against the skin, and 4-way stretch allows movement in every direction. Flatlock stitching sewn with water-resistant thread keeps seams flat and reduces water retention and ingress.
An adjustable internal elastic waistband provides a secure fit. The pants can be worn on their own as a baselayer or layered under outerwear, and suit sailing, paddle, rowing, and watersports in cooler conditions.
