The 52 SUPER SERIES has confirmed a new long-term partnership with leading global high-performance clothing brand Zhik, who will become the Official Technical Clothing Partner of the world’s premier grand prix monohull racing circuit. The initial agreement will run for three seasons through to the end of 2028, with Zhik supplying a custom-designed range of clothing for 52 SUPER SERIES personnel.
The partnership will see race management, media, broadcast, umpiring and shore-based operational teams outfitted with apparel designed to support the realities of long days on and off the water across the Series’ diverse international venues.
With a shared focus on performance, professionalism and consistency at the highest level of the sport, the partnership represents an obvious alignment between two organisations operating at the sharp end of yacht racing. Zhik’s experience working alongside elite sailors and race teams worldwide made the brand a natural choice to support the operational backbone of the circuit.
Sustainability also plays a central role in the collaboration, with a strong emphasis on responsible material choices and long-term durability in line with both organisations’ values.
Johannes Polgar, European Sales Director at Zhik, said the partnership reflects a natural meeting of standards and expectations.
“52 SUPER SERIES sets the benchmark for professional monohull racing, and that level of precision and consistency mirrors how we approach our own work at Zhik,” said Polgar. “Supporting the people who make the circuit happen every day felt like an obvious fit. It’s a partnership built on shared values, trust and a clear understanding of what high-level performance environments demand.”
Harm Müller-Spreer, 52 Super Series shareholder, three times Rolex TP52 World Champion and 52 SUPER SERIES Overall winner in 2023, stated: “We are proud to enter the long term collaboration with Zhik which is the perfect fit to work alongside. Like the 52 SUPER SERIES they are committed to pure performance, a strong, authentic image and a having a major commitment to sustainability. And together now we take a great step together to create a range of exclusive merchandise which is a great step to open up the circuit and make it more accessible.”
