1. The Zhik Ascender Program relationship is based on mutual trust and respect. We do not enforce formal contracts. Both Zhik and Ascender Team Members are expected to maintain an open and honest working relationship, guided by self-regulation.

2. We encourage Ascender Team Members to genuinely love and appreciate Zhik gear. If you encounter any issues or have feedback about our products, please communicate them to us. We value your input, and those who provide regular feedback may have the opportunity to test our latest innovations.

3. As an Ascender Team Member, you are encouraged to promote Zhik by displaying our logo. We offer stickers that can be placed on your sails, booms, boards, paddles, hulls, trailers, cars, etc. You have the freedom to choose where and how to advertise our logo according to your comfort level.

4. Zhik reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

5. Membership on the Ascender Team is reviewed on an annual basis. This allows us to assess your progress and contributions.

6. Current Zhik sponsored athletes and team riders are not eligible to join the Ascender Program

7. Clothing that is purchased through the Zhik ascender program can be warrantied, returned and exchanged for the value of original purchase. To do this, follow the steps outlined under the ‘Warranties and Returns’ tab on our website.

8. As an Ascender Team Member, you have the opportunity to purchase Zhik gear directly from us at a discounted rate. Each account set up has a credit limit of $5,000 AUD (or equivalent currency). This limit can be extended after your account has been requested for review.

9. If you are an Ascender Team Member who acontinues to accomplish great things, you also have the opportunity to have your name published as part of ‘Viktor’s Dream Team’ – This is a list of our ascenders that achieve exceptional results and have the opportunity to be accepted as part of the prestigious ‘Zhik Team’.

10. For Ascender Program Members, we expect you to be prepared to provide high quality photos that we can use, along with your name and likeness, for our marketing materials and commercial purposes. Please ensure your photos meet our quality criteria outlined below:

On the Water:

Focus on the athlete.

Capture action shots with splashing and fast-paced sailing, paddling, rowing etc.

Ensure sailors are wearing Zhik gear from head to toe.

Optimise camera settings for speed and light.

Preferably use a big, fast lens with a narrow depth of field.

Off the Water:

Take artistic shots with creative angles.

Pay attention to background cleanliness.

Experiment with both landscape and portrait orientations.

Smooth out wrinkles in the gear for a polished appearance.

Video:

We highly appreciate video content but acknowledge its difficulty to obtain. Ascender Team Members are encouraged to provide videos of their sailing experiences and Zhik gear usage whenever possible.

By participating in the Zhik Ascender Team Sponsorship Program, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Zhik reserves the right to make changes to this program as it evolves. We look forward to working together and achieving success in the sailing world.
